ACRYLIC PAINTING WORKSHOPS with Teyjah K. Mc Aren

Join in the fun and explore the vast possibilities available with acrylic paints, gels and mediums.  In any of the classes you will have a 40-50 minute lecture covering the most important features of acrylics.  As such you will learn about the difference between gels and mediums, fluids and heavy body paints, varnishing problems, how to avoid using water with Heavy Body paint, what to use to extend your paint and how to control the sheen of your paintings.  You will also leave with an information packet and a kit of products worth $40.00 U.S. on top of the material you get to use in class. All workshops are one day and run 6 hours unless otherwise indicated.  There is a different technique for each of the products in each class so there are no repeats between the workshop exercises.  I will sometimes change a product or technique depending on the needs of the class or product availability.
